Meals: 3 servings (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

After having breakfast, we will ride our bikes along the beautiful Thac Ba Lake, following a small path lined with palm trees to get onto Road 2, where we will be driving up to Ha Giang

Ha Giang is a province of northern Vietnam. It shares borders with China to the north and is also the northernmost part of Vietnam. The beautiful landscape has made this one of the most visited areas in northern Vietnam. Many mountainous areas, thousands of caves, rivers, waterfalls, and lakes are what Ha Giang is known for.

We will spend the night there and then go to a local authority office to seek a permit.

Day 3: Visit Ma Pi Leng pass, Vuong Family and Dong Van District

Distance: 160km

Accommodation: Hotel

Meals: 3 servings (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

After having the necessary paperwork from the local authority, we will set off on a challenging voyage through narrow and winding mountain roads with stunning scenery.

Our goal is to ride to Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the highest passes in Vietnam. This pass offers stunning views of colorful mountain ranges. We can see a small river called the Nho Que, which seems poetic meandering in the distant backdrop.

It is hard to imagine just how overwhelming and magnificent it has been captured with the creation of Ma Pi Leng Pass that lies between two districts: Meo Vac and Dong Van. It is a site of epic landscapes and astounding views with rustic charm. The pass is sure to catch everyone's eyes, especially if you love natural beauty.

After that, we'll travel to the home of the Vuong family, only 14km from Dong Van. It takes us on a zigzag route up to the clouds and down into the dense forest. The incredible view is enough to take away your breath.

Arriving at the residence, you are transported back in time to a very Chinese architecture built in Sa Phin valley. We would say this home is one of the most amazing works of art, hiding in the wild and poetic space of Sa Phin valley. This deserted region offers many inspiring aspects about the locals' lifestyle and how they cope in the face of such a challenging life. Today is one of the best Vietnam motorbike tours.

Once we arrive in Dong Van, one thing you will never forget when reaching this town is how quaint it is, reflected in the ancient houses of the Hmong people built a long time ago.

Day 4: Dong Van - Ba Be National Park Via Meo Vac District

We will be crossing the wild mountainous regions of Ha Giang, including Meo Vac. Meo Vac District has some of the most beautiful, untouched natural scenery in Northwest Vietnam, with scenic lakes, rivers, and waterfalls.

Once we reach the Meo Vac district, you will find some of the unique ethnic minorities in the country and experience their cultures, lifestyles, and customs. These minority groups include the Kinh, Hmong, Dao, and Tay people - all who live in harmony here.

We'll go motorbiking to Bac Kan after having lunch and then take a boat ride at Na Hang Hydro Power Factory. The boat will take us to a hamlet in Ba Be National Park - near the Dau Dang Waterfall - where we have arranged a homestay.

Day 5: Ba Be National Park - Ha Noi

Ba Be National Park - Ha Noi

Distance: 230 km

Meals: 2 servings (breakfast, lunch)

On the last day of our tour, we will start early to go back to Hanoi. We'll have breakfast, then get on another boat to ride across Ba Be to visit the other side before hopping on our motorbikes to Cho Ra and heading to Road 3.

Ba Be national Park is a reserved area abundant with biodiversity, containing the biggest fresh-water lake in Vietnam and many endangered species. It is a place of pristine beauty, rich flora, fauna, and rare animals found nowhere else in the world. The Government established the 10,048-hectare area to preserve forests and their natural ecosystems in this region.

In addition, Ba Be is a place where you can see many cultures of minority tribes like the Tay, Dao, Dao, Mong, and Nung. They all make their homes in the hamlets within the national park's boundaries.

Although each group speaks their language and primarily follows their customs, they have lived peacefully for countless generations. You can enjoy the beautiful natural landscape and the peaceful serenity of the park before returning to the bustling capital.
