Introduction

The Mekong delta is one of the most important rice-producing regions in Asia, and it provides an incredible opportunity for some exciting exploration.

The river that flows through this region is called the Mekong River, known as the "Mother River" by locals. It has a lot of natural resources to support the agricultural needs of its inhabitants.

This blog post will provide you with information about how you can visit some parts of this region on this Understanding Mekong delta motorbike journey.

Full Itinerary

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Can Tho

It isn't easy to think that the Mekong Delta was originally just a network of towns and rice terraces, but while you ride through this magnificent area on two wheels, your tour guide will tell you about its history.

The natives name it "Cuu Long," or "9 Dragons," since nine tributaries unite at one location and flow into the gorgeous sea.

On the first day, we will follow guides into southern Vietnam's Ben Tre province and then go out onto land rich in agriculture (the delta produces half of Southeast Asia's food) and wildlife.

We return to land after a day of sailing around the rivers. The journey has been an experience not only for your senses but also for your soul.

Witness life in all its complexity and beauty as you floated over rice paddies on boats bobbing up against fishermen's nets—and even learned about how to make coconut flour at home!

We enter a smaller street where children are playing, females dressed in traditional costumes - ao dai, and the elderly sell products on pairs of lanterns. All of them will provide you with cultural experiences you never imagined possible.

Before pausing for lunch, we ride through the paths beneath a lush canopy of coconut plantations.

After our lunch, we'll taste local specialties like scrumptious "elephant ear fish" as we soak up culture by enjoying private boat excursions back onto land or into town. We will spend the night in Can Tho.

Day 2: Visiting Cai Rang Floating Market - Riding Back To HCMC

The next day, we resumed our trip to Vietnam with a boat excursion to the crowded Cai Rang floating market in the early morning. Moving on, you may engage in more than simply water-based economic activities! We'll go inland and see one rice paper mill before returning to nature for two stops.

Today we can make 2 options:

Option 1, destination: Motorcycle ride back Saigon.

Following your exploration of the floating market, enjoy a motorbike ride through farmland communities and narrow laneways. We may stop for lunch as often or as infrequently as we choose on our drive back to Saigon!

Option 1, destination: Motorcycle ride back Saigon.

Option 2, destination: Phu Quoc island.

After our enjoyable day at the floating market, you will be transferred to Can Tho bus station, where your adventure will begin.

At 7:30 a.m., you will board a local Phuong Trang bus and travel approximately 10 kilometers to Rach Gia, where workers from Super Dong Speedboat Company will be waiting for us with transfer service to Phu Quoc Island!

Your baggage has been delivered ahead of schedule. When everything is running well, all systems operate as if by magic, with no delays or issues of any kind.

Please keep in mind that you should provide extra tips.
