Whether you're a solo rider or with a crew, the Ha Giang Loop promises Vietnam at its most breathtaking, challenging, and unforgettable.

4 Day Ha Giang Loop: Tour Details
Day 0: Ha Noi To Ha Giang Motorbike Tour
Riders will not have to drive there by themselves for 8 hours to reach Ha Giang. Instead, we will have our overnight transfers in a luxury VIP bus. This way, we can rest and fully enjoy the first riding day at the quietest, most secluded, and most luxurious time.
The distance and time frame of the expected travel route is a straight line. Those who want to pull over at rest stops or attractions need to consider this in advance.
In addition, the travel schedule also adds more time for those who choose to take longer routes due to stops, attractions, or more difficult routes. Here, visitors will also have the opportunity to interact with locals and visit the nearby markets to enjoy specialty food and buy souvenirs.
However, this also means we may travel on more difficult and time-consuming routes. We'll never rush to drive at night on risky roads, and we always have plenty of time to accomplish whatever we want.
Our departure time is 11 pm, and we are expected to be there around 7 am. Upon arrival, you will be ready to receive your main vehicle - motorbikes and enjoy breakfast.

Day 1: Ha Giang To Yen Minh Motorbike Tour
Since it can be a long day on the bus, your first day of travel will not be challenging at all. We will still have enough time to make some side trips to visit rest stops or other attractions.
The first half of the journey begins on flat ground, but you'll soon ascend to the Ha Giang Plateau, where you'll have to choose between taking a shortcut and going through the jungle by motorbike.
We end up in Yen Minh village, where riders will be accommodated in a guesthouse run by locals for the night and eaten at neighboring markets.

Day 2: Yen Minh To Dong Van Motorbike Tour
There's only 50km away from our destination going along the main route, but we choose not to go directly there right away. Instead, we will turn to the side streets and take a small motorcycle tour to participate in the village trading activities.
Even if some routes are closed, we can still find a workaround. That’s why having an abundance of time always works wonders. We will spend the night in a gorgeous hotel for dinner, cleanup, and comfortably relaxing.
We stay overnight in Dong Van plateau!

Day 3: Dong Van To Du Gia Motorbike Tour
On the way to Du Gia, we now turn into the inner circle and ride through Mau Due. The road is a short straight stretch. However, our goal was to get to our motel via a few roundabouts and trails instead of that major road.
A point worth mentioning in Dong Van is visiting the neighborhood market, usually early in the morning, to observe the ethnic minorities trading, which is very fun and bustling. You can ask the locals of Dong Van about the date and time of operation of the market in the vicinity.
Leaving early in the morning gives us cultural exploration opportunities and a lot of time to enjoy a few drinks before dinner at our homestay.

Day 4: Du Gia To Ha Giang Motorbike Tour
On the last day of your motorcycle trip, have a simple breakfast and pack everything you need to return to Ha Giang.
With the distance going not too far, we should not have any pressure to complete the trip in just one day. Although there will still be many bends and passes, we will not have as many difficulties as when moving here.
We may decide to return to Ha Giang or continue to stay to explore this Du Gia area. You should complete the trek carefully as the route’s first half shows a beautiful mountain view, but the second half requires us to return to the main road, which can be dangerous.
Before getting on the bus returning to Hanoi, we can have lunch in Ha Giang. After lunch, we will go to our hotel. It’s time for a beer and some snacks at a nearby restaurant after going to our hotel room to shower and change into comfortable clothes.
