This place lies in the mountains and has a temperate monsoon climate, so it has a mild and temperate temperature every month of the year. Because of this factor, it is a great place for motorbike traveling anytime.

Year-round, it enjoys pleasant, cool air. During the weeks leading up to and following the Vietnamese New Year, white cherry blossoms are in full bloom. 

Many people visit Moc Chau during this time to see nature in its full glory while feeling the cool northern breeze caress their cheeks. It's very easy to get lost in the immense crowd!

In March, Bauhinia Variegata trees burst into brilliant bloom in the forests. If you go from October to February, you will catch the scene of wild sunflowers, white cauliflower blooming and composing an enchanting dreamy landscape.

If you decide to travel by car, you have a couple of different routes you can take. You can set off from Hanoi, Sapa, or Dien Bien, as these destinations all go through Moc Chau. 

Whether you choose a motorcycle or car, you'll want to take frequent stops to snap photos of the beautiful countryside while navigating roads lined with mountains and rice fields.

How Can You Get To Moc Chau By Motorbike?

If motorbiking is your type of travel, you can follow one of these routes. The most common one is Highway 6, which begins in Hanoi center and then continues along to Moc Chau center. 

The motorbike journey just takes a few hours and travels physically along 187km with beautiful views of rock cliffs and majestic peaks while passing stilt houses and the slowly dissipating morning clouds. Here, the sceneries are reminiscent of magnificent mountain landscapes typical of those found throughout Northwestern land.

The second road begins in Van Yen dock and then passes through Thu Cuc, Thanh Son, Phong Chau before ending at Trung Ha Bridge, finally, back down to Highway 32. This option will take you through a dazzlingly stunning landscape full of majestic mountains and calming rivers.

There are many little things that you'll come across on your way. Pa Co, Long Luong, and Ang villages are places worth stopping at. They are just about a few kilometers away from the road, and these hamlets are beautiful resting spots with many stunning orchards and spectacular flowers blooming everywhere! 

When passing Ang Village, you can stop by a local home to discover the unique traditional Thai culture. Traveling 30km from the Long Sap Border, visitors are amazed by Dai Yem, the waterfall pouring out of the cliff all day long, impressing with its sensual touch like a silk ribbon hanging on the majestic mountains.

Following the route will lead you to "Ban On Five Caves", which is a sight to behold! In addition to the road being shaped like S, many unique landscapes are sure to catch your eyes, such as the famous tea hill with a heart shape in the middle.
