Day 1: Depart From Hanoi To Mai Chau valley

To begin this motorbike journey, you need to go to the meeting point on time at about 8 am in the morning to hear the instructions from the tour guide. After that, you will have a quick breakfast near that point and depart to Mai Chau, which is located in the Northwest of Vietnam. 

Mai Chau is about 170km from Hanoi. It will take you more than 5 hours ride to get there. As soon as we come to Mai Chau, we will have an amazing dinner with specialties and dance with local tribes. Stay overnight in home-stay of Thai family.

Day 2: From Mai Chau To Nghia Lo, Mu Cang Chai

We will ride about 230 kilometers to come to Nghia Lo, which is a town in Yen Bai Province. It is also the location of many traditional tribes, especially the Hmong. 

Coming to Nghia Lo, we will visit the Suoi Giang ecological area located on the majestic Fansipan mountain range, the ancestral homeland of tea species with hundreds of years old tea trees, incredible rice terraces in Mu Cang Chai. You will admire the immense tea hills and enjoy the taste of San Tuyet Suoi Giang. Today could be the highlight of the motorbike ride in Vietnam.

The next destination is on the third day in Sapa. We have to ride about 250 kilometers and keep the off-road track to the highest mountain - Fansipan. From the peak of the mountain, you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the whole city or the fields and waterfalls. 

From Sapa to Nghia Lo, with the road going through beautiful terraced fields, the scenery here makes it possible to find a place of peace in the soul. We will hire a homestay or hotel to stay here overnight.

Referring to Sapa, many people will immediately think of the image of Mount Fansipan - the "roof of Indochina", the majestic O Quy Ho pass, or the breathtakingly beautiful Ham Rong Peak. You can also visit Muong Hoa valley has the most beautiful terraced fields.

From Sapa, you just need to follow the direction of Fansipan peak, about 2 km; you will meet Cat Cat village located peacefully at the foot of Fansipan mountain. Cat Cat is a tourist village mainly inhabited by H'Mong people and is an ideal resort destination.

Day 5: From Sapa To Ha Giang

If you depart from Sapa town to Ha Giang, the number of kilometers you will pass is more than 200km. This distance is not too long, but because the terrain is mainly winding and difficult, it may take a bit longer to ride but it offers stunning views along the roads.

On the way, we will stop at the bank of Nam Thi river to eat and see the border between Vietnam and China. Then we will arrive in Ha Giang in the afternoon.

Coming to Dong Van Ha Giang, you can visit Dong Van Stone Plateau Ha Giang, which is the most attractive destination here. The rocky plateau has thousands of limestone rocks with diverse shapes that bring unique beauty, an impression for the leading region of China.

Another place is the Lung Cu flagpole, which contains historical significance affirming sovereignty for the nation. At an altitude of 1600m from the flagpole, you can fully see the majestic beauty of Ha Giang's nature. You can also hire a hotel and eat dinner here.

Day 7: From Dong Van To Bao Lac

After finishing breakfast at Dong Van, you will continue the journey to Bao Lac. On the way, you will admire the beauty of Ma Pi Leng Pass and the Nho Que river. You will have beautiful photos here to preserve these moments. You can always have lunch at Meo Vac valley and come to Bao Lac in the afternoon.

Continue going for another 110 km, you will come to Ba Be Lake. Visitors can enjoy watching the transformation of Ba Be Lake in just one day. 

In addition to enjoying the beautiful scenery of Ba Be Lake, visitors also have the opportunity to enjoy specialties that are difficult to find elsewhere, such as lake fish, shrimp, and many other special dishes such as hill chicken, wild vegetables, suckling pork, sticky rice or bamboo shoots.
