Tour Details
Day 1: Hanoi - Mau Son - Lang Son
The first destination on this journey is Mau Son, about 180 km from Hanoi if you travel by motorbike. Mau Son is a mountainous region of the province with diverse topography, with a population of 80 large and small mountains.
It is also an area with a relatively low climate; it is covered with white snow in the winter. Therefore, Mau Son becomes an ideal destination for backpackers and snow lovers. Being the land of wind and fog, Mau Son has an altitude above sea level up to over 1,500 meters.
Especially riding to Mau Son in winter, if you are lucky, you can admire the white snowflakes, adorned with ancient French villas, clustered on tree branches and grass, covering the whole house, doors, and aisles.
Day 2: A Day In Mau Son ( Off-road riding around Mau Son mountain )
Vegetation in Mau Son is quite rich on nearly 5,000 hectares of forest. Here, the natural forest has many precious and rare creatures such as oak, chestnut, agarwood, agarwood, and medicinal plants.
Some flowers, such as rhododendrons and orchids, are beautiful only in this mountainous area. Mau Son also has many rare and valuable plants and animals of high economic value, such as ancient san Tuyet tea, peaches, forest lemons, and incense frogs.
Besides the natural values, Mau Son is also particularly attractive because of the values of spiritual culture and the pure national cultural identity of the ethnic communities living here, such as Tay, Nung, and Dao.
Day 3: Mau Son - Cao Bang
To ride from Lang Son to Cao Bang, you will follow Highway 4 and cross the trails. Cao Bang is not only famous and attracts tourists by historical places such as Pac Po cave or Lenin stream, but also by the majestic mountain scenery, charming roads, and famous landmarks.
Cao Bang is also a land with a rich history and a rich revolutionary historical relics system. Cao Bang is full of identity with folk songs, customs, cultural festivals, and traditional craft villages of indigenous people.
Cao Bang attracts tourists not only because of its beautiful natural scenery but also because of its richness in culinary culture. When riding to Cao Bang, some specialties that you must try are Banh ap Chao, pho Chua, xoi tram Cao Bang, Banh Cuon, etc.
Day 4: Riding To Ban Gioc Waterfall
If Cao Bang has anything beautiful, it is impossible to ignore a great place like Ban Gioc. This waterfall is located at the contiguous position between the two provinces of Vietnam and China. In particular, the two sides are images of green reed grass banks.
The main waterfall has low terrain, but strong water flow. On the left, the wide strip of water spills out into a secondary waterfall with many "strings" of water interwoven, bending like a great improvised curtain of nature.
Therefore, Ban Gioc waterfall is likened to the pristine beauty of the Tay woman on the misty mountain top or like the forgotten fairy hair crossing the mountain top. In the middle of the waterfall, a large mound is covered with trees, splitting the river into three streams. On sunny days, the steam that shoots out from the falls creates a rainbow.
Riding to Ban Gioc waterfall and discovering the beauty of one of the beautiful waterfalls of Vietnam, visitors can also spend time learning about the culture and cuisine of the local people through community tourism activities.
Day 5: Motorbike Tour - Pac Bo Cave
Pac Bo historical site is located in Truong Ha commune, Ha Quang district, 52 km north of Cao Bang city center. However, tourists coming here can also enjoy the scenery with clear springs, steep slopes, and cliffs.
