Cross Borders In Dirt Bikes For 14 Days In Laos & Vietnam: Itinerary Details

(Day 1) Hanoi - Mai Chau Valley

The starting point for this journey is Mai Chau, and this place is located 150km western of Hanoi city. Ba Khan lake will be a great place for you to visit in the midday. After visiting the lake, the whole group went off-road together to complete the rest and arrive at Mai Chau's destination.

(Day 2) Start the journey across the border

Start the journey on the next day with a wonderful morning, and the group will go to the next place in Thanh Hoa. The road will stretch along the road next to the Ma river and reach the border area of Na Meo. Crossing the border, you will come to Sam Nua. This site has an ancient pagoda, and you can visit and pray for good luck.

(Day 3) Enjoy in Xieng Khoang

Xieng Khoang will be the next destination on the 3rd day for this fascinating Laos motorcycle journey. The whole team will give the night time together and have a wonderful dinner at Xieng Khoang.

(Day 4) Explore famous places in the land of Luang Prabang

Three hundred thirty-six kilometers is the road ahead waiting for you to experience when participating in the Dirtbike tour. You will have opportunities to visit and explore Pak Ou cavern. Inside there is also a pagoda (cave temple). After a long day of driving, we will relax at the hostel before continuing the journey of discovery freely in Luang Prabang. A typical Laos atmosphere permeates the trip as you can enjoy typical dishes, some grilled dishes, a hot pot, and a refreshing cold beer. Next to it is the fresh Mekong river that makes you feel the most relaxed. (Day 4) Explore famous places in the land of Luang Prabang

(Day 5) Explore the impressive city of Luang Prabang

Coming to Laos, you must visit Luang Prabang because this is a famous place with the bold features of Laos. Taking a Tuk Tuk is sure to be a great experience, then together go to Khuang Si Waterfall and National Park. The scenery of rivers and mountains appearing extremely green will make you feel mesmerized by this freshness.

(Day 6) Start the motorbike trip towards Phonsavan

We will start the day great and begin the journey towards Phonsavan. This site is the capital city of Xieng Khouang. There are many impressive turns and eye-catching scenery on the Ho Chi Minh path, which you need to conquer this road. You will have lunch at Phou Khoun junction and, after that, you will go to Phonsavan to the "Plain of Jars" (if time permits). (Day 6) Start the motorbike trip towards Phonsavan  

(Day 7) Discover attractive points in Phonsavan

At this time, you can enjoy the deepest feeling of discovering Phonsavan. In particular, exploring through Plain of Jars' location will make you feel excited because this is a place steeped in historical value and the unique culture of Laos. The next location will be Muang Khoun, which is the center at Xieng Khoang. Then continue the journey to Vieng Thong. You need to go through the Ho Chi Minh path (lane 10).

(Day 8) Starting back in Vietnam

You will proceed to the Cau Treo border gate after a journey of discovery, then carry out the necessary procedures to re-enter Vietnam.  Before starting the journey to discover the beautiful Central region in Vietnam, we will have lunch. In the afternoon, it’s time to check-in and rest at the hotel. Take a break and try some cold beer if you like!

(Day 9) Discover the beauty of Phong Nha

You may or may not know that Son Doong is the largest cave on Earth with impressive walls. To explore this place, you must attend "Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park", a famous place in all of the country. The legendary road "Ho Chi Minh path" will be the road on which you continue the journey. The whole group will also stay for a few minutes to refuel the car.  The most attractive place to conquer in the day is the "Da Deo" pass, and this is an area with terrain through the ancient forest between Laos and Vietnam. (Day 9) Discover the beauty of Phong Nha

(Day 10) Continue to conquer many places in Phong Nha

Many explorers once called Phong Nha a discovery paradise because of its many unique and interesting features. We have a whole day to experience Nuoc Nut cavern. If you like, you can enjoy swimming here. Additionally, there are activities such as kayaking along the river, walking in the forest, and enjoying an outdoor lunch in a cave. (Day 10) Continue to conquer many places in Phong Nha

(Day 11) Discover about Khe Sanh

The Ho Chi Minh trail was a great trail for our trip, and so is today. Khe Sang museum will be the place we visit in the midday. Stories about the battle of Khe Sanh and the Vietnam struggle will make you reminisce about a hero's resounding past. (Day 11) Discover about Khe Sanh

(Day 12) Visit the most famous monuments

Continuing the series of days of discovering Vietnam's impressive history, on the 12th of the trip, you will have the opportunity to explore the landmarks of McNamara Line, Dakrong Bridge, A Luoi, and Hamburger Hill. The trip continues to National Highway 14 and turns into a dirt road in the territory of Laos. We will continue the journey to the impressive gorges and the ancient capital of Hue, full of poetry.

(Day 13) Hue sightseeing

After many days of exploring around, this is the moment for you to enjoy the sweet and smooth taste in Hue. In the evening you can step foot down the beautiful streets, take a walk and enjoy a variety of typical dishes here.

(Day 14) Sweet last day in Hoi An

"Forbidden Citadel" will be a fascinating place that we visit at the end day of the whole journey. Then proceed to conquer National Highway 1 and proceed to “Hai Van”. You will have a great day exploring the fresh atmosphere, and you will spend the evening in Hoi An city.
