To make a Northern Loop Vietnam Adventure, it will take you about 11 days to do it. It is one of the most epic Vietnam adventures that bikers can experience by motorcycle. During this trip, visitors will pass through places closest to nature, such as green grasslands, valleys, rice fields.
In addition, traveling by motorbike also helps you experience the daily life of the people here. You will get away from all the hustle and bustle of the city and blend in with the motherland's nature. March, April, September, October, November, and December are the most suitable times for anyone who wants to experience this trip.

Day 1: From Hanoi to Mai Chau ( 175km )

First, we will depart from Hanoi at 9 am to reach Mai Chau valley. Along the way, you admire the beauty of nature and golden terraced fields. We will stop for lunch and arrive in Mai Chau in the evening.

Day 2: From Mai Chau to Phu Yen (160km)

When riding a motorbike from Phu Yen to Mai Chau, we will pass through the Moc Chau Plateau. You will have experiences with the people here. This is also where we will stop for lunch, then continue our journey to Phu Yen city. 

The weather is also pleasant and favorable for traveling by motorbike. According to the schedule, you will arrive in Phu Yen in the evening and rent a hotel to rest.

Day 3: Phu Yen - Mu Cang Chai - Than Uyen (210km)

We will go another 210 km to go from place to place - Phu Yen to Than Uyen. You will pass through Mu Cang Chai, which is famous for its terraced fields. Coming to Mu Cang Chai, you can visit Lim Thai and Lim Mong villages about 3km away and see the houses on stilts on both sides of the road. 

Khau Pha pass is also one of the most famous tourist attractions that you should visit in your life. With a height of more than 40km, you can see clouds cover the sky. The pass zig-zags around the mountain ranges, alternating between the wonderful forests.

Day 4: From Than Uyen to Sapa ( 110km)

Riding to Sapa, we can relax in a fresh, peaceful atmosphere with many diverse shades. Sapa has Ham Rong mountain right next to the town; any visitor can go there to see the whole town, Muong Hoa valley, Sa Pa, Ta Phin hidden in the fog.

Traveling to Sapa, riders will not be surprised by the wonderful feeling when standing on top of Fansipan. And most of all, you can discover the colorful ethnic identity of the ethnic villages in the Northwest.

Day 5: From Sapa to Bac Ha (170km)

The next morning, we will continue to depart for Bac Ha. The total distance traveled today is 160 km. Along the way, you will be overwhelmed by the majestic beauty of the wild nature and the traditional culture of the Northwest people. We will arrive in Bac Ha at 5 pm, then rent a hotel and sleep here.

Day 6: From Bac Ha to Ha Giang (190km )

Ha Giang is an ideal place for those who love challenging ride, off-roading and exploring due to the difficult terrain here. The uneven roads running along the mountainside, the bends, and the erratic weather will increase the difficulty. But through it all, we will find a feeling of joy when we overcome the past block!

Ha Giang has Ma Phi Leng, Nho Que river, Dong Van rock plateau. There is a ripe rice season on terraced fields, a triangular flower season, and a lot of things that you can explore.

Day 7: From Ha Giang to Dong Van (150km)

Dong Van is a famous place if you have set foot in Ha Giang. Dong Van is a border highland district of Ha Giang, 146km from Ha Giang city. You can visit the famous Dong Van rock plateau. 

It is a rocky plateau spreading over four districts of Ha Giang province. On the way, you can stop to take pictures and explore the beauty of this place.

Day 8: From Dong Van to Bao Lac (165km)

After breakfast and preparation, we will continue to Bao Lac. We will also pass through rolling plateaus, rice terraces, and Ma Pi Leng pass. Before stopping at Bao Lac's destination, we will go sightseeing at Dong Van Geopark.

Day 9: From Bao Lac to Ba Be Lake ( 160km)

One of the beautiful destinations of the Northeast, located on a road that can be combined with many other roads, Ba Be Lake is a destination chosen by many backpackers for their route. 

The outstanding geomorphological value, unique geological landscape, and great biodiversity value are the greatest one of Ba Be Lake. This is the largest natural freshwater lake in Vietnam. Stopping here, you can enjoy the beauty of nature bestowed.

Day 10: From Ba Be Lake to Thac Ba Lake (170km)

Thac Ba Lake is one of the unique destinations of Yen Bai province. Although it is an artificial lake, the landscape of the lake is the harmony of nature with human hands.

The lake is very quiet while the air is fresh, green, and cool, along with the smooth green forests undulating endlessly. When coming to Thac Ba lake, visitors will experience the feeling of floating on small boats to go to the main attractions of the lake, including Thac Ba Tinh Linh, Thac Ong Temple, Sao Pagoda, Cao Ben Mountain, Xuan Long Cave, etc.
