On your very first day doing dirt bike tour around Vietnam, we are going to set off from Sai Gon or Ho Chi Minh city then ride about 160km to reach our first destination which is Cat Tien National park. This land was formed to cover a huge area of 72,000 ha with a diversity of flora and fauna.

This natural  spot  has been one of the most favorite site to all the nature lovers in which they can unwind and enjoy the fresh air and stay away  from  the city crowd. What a pleasant start!

DAY 2: CAT TIEN NATIONAL PARK MOTORBIKE TOUR TO DA LAT (B, L, D)

Kick start your motorbike to come to a beautiful city in the central highland that is Da Lat. Riding along the winding passes through the green forest, you will see the lush coffee and tea plantations.

Due to its advantageous natural position, Da Lat is home to  a diversity of landscapes and resources. The average temperature is around 20 to 21celcius degree. That is the reason why Da Lat is considered as the land of flowers and fruits.

Today is your free day with a full of joyful experiences to discover. You can plan to wake up early to see sunrise on the tranquil beach then get ready to do some ocean activities. You can try some of the top water sports in Nha Trang such as flyboard, parasailing, motorboat or scuba  diving if you want to see the colorful and exotic coral reef and marine life in general.

You can spend the afternoon time for visiting a religious site which is Ponagar Cham Towers. The Cham people is an ethnic minority in Nha Trang, renowned for their skills in sculpture architecture. Worshiping their  gods at Ponagar towers is one of the Cham’s religious practices. They also organize the festival of Thap Ba fell into the end of April and begin of May. Leaving the coastal city, today you are going to visit a city in the Central Highland which is Buon Ma Thuot, a beautiful capital of Dak Lak province. Its name was given as the name of  the father who founded the first village of the highland on the bank of the Ea Tam Stream. If it is the first time you have been here, you will definitely be amazed by the wild nature and the authenticity of local culture.

Specifically, You will see, along the way the lush coffee plantation. Coffee is mainly grew here because the bazan soil in the central  highland is the best condition to make the best coffee ever like Trung Nguyen coffee. Today after breakfast, you say goodbye to the friendly host then we ride up north, over the coffee aroma, through the long bazan roads to come to Kon Tum, another province in the Central Highlands Viet Nam. Before arriving Kon Tum, we will have a visit to Bien Ho or To Neung Lake located in Bien Ho commune, Pleiku city.

This is a crater that has stopped operating for hundreds of millions years. The view is breathtaking. The road to the lake is picturesque flanked by green pine groves. The water is calm and blue. Take a look over the lake and the hills, the landscapes surrounding will make you feel pleasant, chilled and forget all the anxiety and tiredness. Afterwards, we keep riding and arrive in Kontum around 5pm. Check in, take a rest and have dinner. We stay in the hotel.

DAY 7: KON TUM MOTORBIKE RIDE TO HOI AN (B, L, D)

Waking up in the middle of wild nature in Tay Nguyen, sipping a cup of pure coffee is going to be a fantastic start of the 7th day. Let’s say your  goodbyes to the locals then follow up your guide to travel to another land calling all of us that is Hoi An ancient town.

On the way leaving Kon Tum behind, you will see a lots of local people working on the hillsides. The locals here are mainly the ethnic minorities typically Xo Dang, Bana, Gia Rai, etc. They often get up early then work in the coffee, rubber, or pepper plantation while wearing their traditional costumes.

You might want to capture this scene before actually getting out of this beautiful land. On the Ho Chi Minh road, we will have a stopover in Kham  Duc ( belongs to Quang Nam province ) then drive about 2hour more to reach Hoi An in late afternoon. Overnight in a home-stay.

Hoi An ancient town was inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. “It  is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a small-scale trading port active the 15th to 19th centuries”.

To mark  your existence in Hoi An, the first thing you must do is to visit the most iconic attraction in Hoi An that is Japanese Covered Bridge or Chua Cau. It features the cultural and  architectural exchange between Japan and Viet Nam as it was built in the 17th  century with the Japanese merchants’ donation. That is for a short sightseeing tour in the morning. Then you can ride a bike to visit Tra Que vegetable village and join the Cooking Class there if you like.

Afternoon time you  can a stroll  around the town for shopping. Let’s discover some handicraft stores, or have yourself the dress or suit in a tailoring shop. And don’t forget to taste the food there as Hoi An is a heaven of food to explore. You are also advised to have a stroll down the streets when the night comes, the lanterns lighten every corner of the town that makes the town looks stunning at night. Stay in hotel.

Today is also another amazing ride offering scenic views over river and mountain. Continuing riding along the Ho Chi Minh trail, we cross the Dakrong Bridge.

The bridge was the main access to the Ho Chi Minh trail during the war, and was bombed and rebuilt repeatedly throughout the conflict. The surrounding areas are home to Van Kieu and Pa Co ethnic minority groups who enthusiastically fought against the enemy.

Afterwards, we head out for Khe Sanh Combat base offering you the historical knowledge about Viet Nam war specifically the Khe Sanh victory in the whole campaign of 1968. We will be back in town and check in hotel.

We spend morning time exploring Phong Nha – Ke Bang National  Park by boat. We’ll visit some caves such as Phong Nha cave, Tien Son cave.

After the exploration we should keep going to the Ho Chi Minh trail, crossing the remote villages and arrive in Tan Ky town in Nghe An province around 5pm. We stay overnight in a hotel

Tan Ky – Hanoi will be a long stretch over 290km but it will definitely be a memorable trip. From Tan Ky town, the motorcyclist will follow the Ho Chi Minh trail, have a stop in the KM.0 which is a special national vestige. This was the beginning of the legendary Ho Chi Minh trail – a blood road that Vietnamese sent supplies for the southern Vietnam battlefield.

The road has been repaired so that it is easy for us to ride. We also go through the mountainous areas in Thanh Hoa province where the Dao, Muong people are living. Afterwards, when you cross Ninh Binh, you will see the large limestone mountains as well as the lush rice fields. You might want to take some pictures of this beautiful and tranquil landscapes before hitting the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. We will stay in the hotel in Hanoi old town.

Today, you will meet the guide at the appointed place to have a brief guidance about the routes we are going to ride over, motorbike’s usage introduction which lasts around 30’ before departing from Hanoi to Thac Ba Lake. Thac Ba Lake is one of the largest man-made lakes in Viet Nam with total area of 23400 ha composing over 1300 islands and islets, forming beautiful caves.

We will do a boat tour to discover Thac Ba, giving you a sense of coolness, lightness and tranquility.

Nestled in the rock and  primitive forest, Ban Gioc Waterfall paints the picturesque scene by the 30m white and strong water flow down to blue lake which harmonizes with the bird whistle and this catches all senses of the visitors.

The cascade with 300m in width become the widest waterfall in Vietnam. Being on the raft and admiring as closed as the white waterfall as you can feel the spray splashing out to your face will probably be the most amazing experience for you today. After the visit, we ride back to Cao Bang and settle in Quang Uyen town.

Today we keep riding down along the eastern border with China to visit Lang Son province.  The typical topography in Lang Son is low mountains and hills with river valleys of Ky Cung river, Thuong river, etc.

Travelers come here can visit Mau Son mountain peak, at the  elevation of 1500m above the sea level with the winding roads up to the mount. When the temperature goes down to 0 Celsius degree, it starts  to  snow on top of the peak which attracts a lot of visitors especially the snowy catching tourists.

If you want to explore the beauty in architecture of the temple and pagoda, you can spend time seeing Ky Cung temple or Tam Thanh pagoda. After visit, we drive to our  hotel  and check in. We’ll stay overnight at hotel in Lang Son

Day 1

HO CHI MINH CITY - CAT TIEN NATIONAL PARK: (L, D)

On your very first day doing dirt bike tour around Vietnam, we are going to set off from Sai Gon or Ho Chi Minh city then ride about 160km to reach our first destination which is Cat Tien National park. This land was formed to cover a huge area of 72,000 ha with a diversity of flora and fauna.

This natural  spot  has been one of the most favorite site to all the nature lovers in which they can unwind and enjoy the fresh air and stay away  from  the city crowd. What a pleasant start!

Our group will  stay overnight in a hotel.

Day 2

CAT TIEN NATIONAL PARK MOTORBIKE TOUR TO DA LAT (B, L, D)

Kick start your motorbike to come to a beautiful city in the central highland that is Da Lat. Riding along the winding passes through the green forest, you will see the lush coffee and tea plantations.

Due to its advantageous natural position, Da Lat is home to  a diversity of landscapes and resources. The average temperature is around 20 to 21celcius degree. That is the reason why Da Lat is considered as the land of flowers and fruits.

We will definitely  have a visit to Da Lat flower garden, some strawberry farms and explore Da Lat market by night. Especially accommodation here is very convenient, we can easily find an affordable and well-decorated homestay.

Day 3

DA LAT MOTORCYCLE TOUR TO NHA TRANG (B, L, D)

Have your breakfast in Da Lat before head out for Nha Trang. The third day is also worth doing since the upcoming destination is one of the best beaches in Vietnam. Of course riding motorbike along the coastal roads will make you feel relaxed as listening to the sound of waves crashing onto the shore, and just breath in the breezes coming in.

The group definitely have some stopovers for all the motorcyclists chill up, look over the horizon and capture the best moments of dusk time. After check in hotel, you have your own time to get swimming on the long sandy beaches. Additionally, another  favorite part that you can expect as visiting a beach city like Nha Trang is FOOD! Having dinner with fresh seafood after a long riding day will be amazing.

Day 4

NHA TRANG FREE AND EASY (B, L, D)

Today is your free day with a full of joyful experiences to discover. You can plan to wake up early to see sunrise on the tranquil beach then get ready to do some ocean activities. You can try some of the top water sports in Nha Trang such as flyboard, parasailing, motorboat or scuba  diving if you want to see the colorful and exotic coral reef and marine life in general.

You can spend the afternoon time for visiting a religious site which is Ponagar Cham Towers. The Cham people is an ethnic minority in Nha Trang, renowned for their skills in sculpture architecture. Worshiping their  gods at Ponagar towers is one of the Cham’s religious practices. They also organize the festival of Thap Ba fell into the end of April and begin of May. The Ponagar complex is the remarkable site to learn about the ethnic culture. Visiting the site in your own.

Day 5

NHA TRANG MOTORBIKE TOUR TO BUON MA THUOT (B, L, D)

Leaving the coastal city, today you are going to visit a city in the Central Highland which is Buon Ma Thuot, a beautiful capital of Dak Lak province. Its name was given as the name of  the father who founded the first village of the highland on the bank of the Ea Tam Stream. If it is the first time you have been here, you will definitely be amazed by the wild nature and the authenticity of local culture.

Specifically, You will see, along the way the lush coffee plantation. Coffee is mainly grew here because the bazan soil in the central  highland is the best condition to make the best coffee ever like Trung Nguyen coffee. And Vietnam is also the second largest coffee exporter in the world. Besides this fantastic drink, you will be well-treated with the traditional Gong Dance at night. Overnight in the local homestay.

Day 6

BUON MA THUOT - KON TUM (B, L, D)

Today after breakfast, you say goodbye to the friendly host then we ride up north, over the coffee aroma, through the long bazan roads to come to Kon Tum, another province in the Central Highlands Viet Nam. Before arriving Kon Tum, we will have a visit to Bien Ho or To Neung Lake located in Bien Ho commune, Pleiku city.

This is a crater that has stopped operating for hundreds of millions years. The view is breathtaking. The road to the lake is picturesque flanked by green pine groves. The water is calm and blue. Take a look over the lake and the hills, the landscapes surrounding will make you feel pleasant, chilled and forget all the anxiety and tiredness. Afterwards, we keep riding and arrive in Kontum around 5pm. Check in, take a rest and have dinner. We stay in the hotel.

Day 7

KON TUM MOTORBIKE RIDE TO HOI AN (B, L, D)

Waking up in the middle of wild nature in Tay Nguyen, sipping a cup of pure coffee is going to be a fantastic start of the 7th day. Let’s say your  goodbyes to the locals then follow up your guide to travel to another land calling all of us that is Hoi An ancient town.

On the way leaving Kon Tum behind, you will see a lots of local people working on the hillsides. The locals here are mainly the ethnic minorities typically Xo Dang, Bana, Gia Rai, etc. They often get up early then work in the coffee, rubber, or pepper plantation while wearing their traditional costumes.

You might want to capture this scene before actually getting out of this beautiful land. On the Ho Chi Minh road, we will have a stopover in Kham  Duc ( belongs to Quang Nam province ) then drive about 2hour more to reach Hoi An in late afternoon. Overnight in a home-stay.

Day 8

HOI AN AT LEISURE (B, L, D)

Hoi An ancient town was inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. “It  is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a small-scale trading port active the 15th to 19th centuries”.

To mark  your existence in Hoi An, the first thing you must do is to visit the most iconic attraction in Hoi An that is Japanese Covered Bridge or Chua Cau. It features the cultural and  architectural exchange between Japan and Viet Nam as it was built in the 17th  century with the Japanese merchants’ donation. That is for a short sightseeing tour in the morning. Then you can ride a bike to visit Tra Que vegetable village and join the Cooking Class there if you like.

Afternoon time you  can a stroll  around the town for shopping. Let’s discover some handicraft stores, or have yourself the dress or suit in a tailoring shop. And don’t forget to taste the food there as Hoi An is a heaven of food to explore. You are also advised to have a stroll down the streets when the night comes, the lanterns lighten every corner of the town that makes the town looks stunning at night. Stay in hotel.

Day 9

KHE SANH - PHONG NHA  (B, L, D)

After a relaxing day in Hoi An, you must be ready for today part! We ride together  back to Ho Chi Minh trail leading us to Prao town  in Quang Nam province. the distance is about 145km far from Hoi An. Y

ou will ride along the Dak Mi river, cross the rustic villages of the ethnic tribes who always smile and wave to you. This route will make you feel peaceful and welcomed Overnight in a guest-house in town.

Day 10

PRAO MOTORBIKE TOUR TO KHE SANH (B, L, D)

Today is also another amazing ride offering scenic views over river and mountain. Continuing riding along the Ho Chi Minh trail, we cross the Dakrong Bridge.

The bridge was the main access to the Ho Chi Minh trail during the war, and was bombed and rebuilt repeatedly throughout the conflict. The surrounding areas are home to Van Kieu and Pa Co ethnic minority groups who enthusiastically fought against the enemy.

Afterwards, we head out for Khe Sanh Combat base offering you the historical knowledge about Viet Nam war specifically the Khe Sanh victory in the whole campaign of 1968. We will be back in town and check in hotel.

Day 11

KHE SANH MOTORBIKE TOUR TO PHONG NHA(B, L, D)

If Khe Sanh (belonging to Quang Tri province)  welcomes you by the national heroes and historical lessons, Phong Nha Ke Bang (locating in Quang Binh  province) will blow your mind by the amazing karst as well as the massive cave system.

You will travel about 220km up north from Khe Sanh. The rider can meander along the trail, give it a stopover and dive in the nature. Because the trail was built in the middle of the majestic mountain ranges, driving through the trail and admire the beautiful landscapes will be the greatest experience. Overnight in a guest house nearby the National park.

Day 12

PHONG NHA MOTORCYCLE TRIP TO TAN KY (B, L, D)

We spend morning time exploring Phong Nha – Ke Bang National  Park by boat. We’ll visit some caves such as Phong Nha cave, Tien Son cave.

Follow your guide as walk in the cave, you can have a look at the surreal karst formation, water dripping from stalactites and stalagmites formed hundred millions years ago. After the exploration we should keep going to the Ho Chi Minh trail, crossing the remote villages and arrive in Tan Ky town in Nghe An province around 5pm. We stay overnight in a hotel

Day 13

TAN KY MOTORCYCLE TRIP TO HANOI (B, L, D)

Tan Ky – Hanoi will be a long stretch over 290km but it will definitely be a memorable trip. From Tan Ky town, the motorcyclist will follow the Ho Chi Minh trail, have a stop in the KM.0 which is a special national vestige. This was the beginning of the legendary Ho Chi Minh trail – a blood road that Vietnamese sent supplies for the southern Vietnam battlefield.

The road has been repaired so that it is easy for us to ride. We also go through the mountainous areas in Thanh Hoa province where the Dao, Muong people are living. Afterwards, when you cross Ninh Binh, you will see the large limestone mountains as well as the lush rice fields. You might want to take some pictures of this beautiful and tranquil landscapes before hitting the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. We will stay in the hotel in Hanoi old town.

Day 14

HANOI FREE AND EASY TOUR (B, L, D)

Hanoi, capital of Vietnam is globally famous. Hanoi has so much things to discover  from history, architecture, art to food. You will find yourself lost in Hanoi with full of unforgettable experiences; nonetheless, one day in Hanoi is way too short to soak up all above. Don’t worry! You are recommended to enjoy your day with the following activities.

In the morning, just take it easy, have breakfast with a bowl of “Bun Cha” or Kebab rice noodles. Then, take a stroll around Hoan Kiem lake, explore  the Old Quarter streets, try the  famous egg coffee, do shopping. Especially, as the dun goes down, come to Ta Hien, enjoy local beer, cheer up after two weeks doing dirt bike tour. Have a deep and good sleep to best prepare for the next stage of the tour.

Day 15

HANOI MOTORCYCLE TRIP TO VU LINH (B, L, D)

Today, you will meet the guide at the appointed place to have a brief guidance about the routes we are going to ride over, motorbike’s usage introduction which lasts around 30’ before departing from Hanoi to Thac Ba Lake. Thac Ba Lake is one of the largest man-made lakes in Viet Nam with total area of 23400 ha composing over 1300 islands and islets, forming beautiful caves.

We will do a boat tour to discover Thac Ba, giving you a sense of coolness, lightness and tranquility.

Dinner will be the highlight on your first day doing the Northern Vietnam Motorbike Tour especially you have chance to taste local rice wine from our hospitable host. Stay in stilt house in Vu Linh village.

Day 16

THAC BA LAKE MOTORCYCLE TRIP TO HA GIANG  (B, L, D)

After breakfast, we leave Thac Ba and ride for Ha Giang which  is a northern-most province bordering to China. This is going to be amazing as you ride through the rugged terrain and winding roads leading  you to the most picturesque landscapes over the massive limestone mountains, deep valleys, lush paddy fields, or  rustic villages. We will take a rest in Luc Yen town for lunch before arriving in Ha Giang at about 4:30 pm. Overnight in hotel.

Day 17

HA GIANG MOTORCYCLE TOUR TO MEO VAC (B, L, D)

Ha Giang – Meo Vac is considered as one of the most exciting route for any traveler as riding motorbike because you are going to conquer Ma Pi Leng pass which known as the king of mountain passes.

At the elevation of about 1,200 meters in Dong Van Plateau, Ma Pi Leng pass situates on the street named Happiness, connecting Dong Van, Ha Giang and the town of Meo Vac. It has 9 sharp turns, stuck between sky-reaching escarpments and dropping abyss. It is definitely a wonder of infrastructure construction of our people on this land of Ha Giang.

Conquering this pass and get the most scenic view beyond the calming Nho Que river far below. This part will be an unforgettable part to all the motorcyclists. We settle in Meo Vac town and check in hotel

Day 18

MEO VAC MOTORBIKE TRIP TO CAO BANG (B, L, D)

Meo Vac is the place holding the core parts of the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark containing a lot of potential values in terms of Geoheritages, biological diversity, tourism, fossils. This rocky highland is the residing place of 17 ethnic tribes contributing to the rich local culture of Ha Giang.

You have chance to admire this gigantic park in the morning, then keep riding down to the east and ending in Cao Bang city. You have your own time discovering the surrounding areas. Overnight at the hotel

Day 19

CAO BANG  MOTORBIKE TOUR TO BAN GIOC WATERFALL AND QUANG UYEN (B, L, D)

After breakfast, we will ride about 90km to visit Ban Gioc Waterfall, a most Well-known natural sight in Cao Bang.

Nestled in the rock and  primitive forest, Ban Gioc Waterfall paints the picturesque scene by the 30m white and strong water flow down to blue lake which harmonizes with the bird whistle and this catches all senses of the visitors.

The cascade with 300m in width become the widest waterfall in Vietnam. Being on the raft and admiring as closed as the white waterfall as you can feel the spray splashing out to your face will probably be the most amazing experience for you today. After the visit, we ride back to Cao Bang and settle in Quang Uyen town.

Day 20

CAO BANG MOTORBIKE TOUR TO LANG SON (B, L, D)

Today we keep riding down along the eastern border with China to visit Lang Son province.  The typical topography in Lang Son is low mountains and hills with river valleys of Ky Cung river, Thuong river, etc.

Travelers come here can visit Mau Son mountain peak, at the  elevation of 1500m above the sea level with the winding roads up to the mount. When the temperature goes down to 0 Celsius degree, it starts  to  snow on top of the peak which attracts a lot of visitors especially the snowy catching tourists.

If you want to explore the beauty in architecture of the temple and pagoda, you can spend time seeing Ky Cung temple or Tam Thanh pagoda. After visit, we drive to our  hotel  and check in. We’ll stay overnight at hotel in Lang Son

Day 21

Lang Son shares the border line to Quang Ninh province; therefore,  after we get out of Lang Son,  you come to the coastal city Ha Long belonging to Quang Ninh province. The road on the sea shore is large and smooth to ride.

Enjoying the breezes coming out, seeing the long rows of coconut tree on the white sandy beaches you will feel relaxed after a long ride. Stay in a city hotel.

Day 22

It might be hard to wake up early in the morning but it is worthy for sure. As the sun goes up, the soft and golden lights will make you feel pleasant while doing taichi is also an interesting experience. After a buffet breakfast, you can do kayaking and  swimming.

Around 11:30, we disembark from the boat, go back to the pier. We take a rest, then ride your dirt bike to Ha Noi on the highway Ha Long – Ha Noi. This part takes about 4 hours driving to reach Ha Noi. WE FINISH YOU 23  MOTORBIKE TOUR WITH FULL OF WONDERFULL EXPERIENCES. WISH YOU THE BESTS!
