In the summer of 2026, 32 members of the VietnamBikers family came together for an unforgettable escape to Minh Chau and Quan Lan, two spectacular islands in Bai Tu Long Bay.
Three generations. One coach. One destination. One incredible family spirit.
From the moment we left Hanoi, the trip was filled with music, laughter, stories, games, and the excitement of travelling together. This was not simply a beach holiday. It was a celebration of the people behind VietnamBikers Tours—the team members, partners, children, parents, and loved ones who make our journey possible every day.
Minh Chau and Quan Lan gave us beautiful beaches, fresh seafood, peaceful island roads, and unforgettable sunsets. But the greatest part of the trip was having our entire family together.
This is how the VietnamBikers family rode out, vibed together, and shone brighter than ever in summer 2026.
One Coach, 32 Family Members, One Big Adventure
Instead of travelling in separate vehicles and arriving at different times, all 32 members of the VietnamBikers family travelled together on one coach.
The bus quickly became our clubhouse on wheels.
The children filled the journey with energy, the adults shared stories and snacks, and the older generation watched over the whole crew with smiles. Music played, jokes travelled from one end of the coach to the other, and the holiday atmosphere began long before we reached the coast.
As Hanoi disappeared behind us and the landscape opened toward the sea, the excitement continued to grow.
Then Bai Tu Long Bay appeared on the horizon.
The sea breeze, green islands, fishing villages, and sparkling water signalled that our summer adventure had officially begun.
Minh Chau: White Sand, Clear Water and Family Fun
Our first island destination was Minh Chau, famous for its long white beach, soft sand, clear blue water, and peaceful natural surroundings.
The moment we reached the beach, the younger members of the family ran straight toward the waves. The teenagers gathered for photos, while the adults and grandparents relaxed beneath the trees and enjoyed the cool sea breeze.
For a few wonderful hours, work schedules, tour plans, motorbikes, emails, and phone calls were forgotten.
There was only the sound of the waves, children laughing, families talking, and everyone enjoying the simplicity of being together.
Minh Chau offered exactly what we needed: open space, fresh air, beautiful scenery, and time to slow down.
It was a reminder that some of life’s best moments do not require a complicated plan. Sometimes all you need is a beautiful beach and the people who matter most.
Quan Lan: Island Freedom on Our Own Terms
After exploring Minh Chau, our journey continued across Quan Lan Island.
Quan Lan feels spacious, peaceful, and wonderfully untouched. Quiet roads pass through green forests, sand dunes, villages, and stretches of coastline that seem to continue forever.
There were no crowded streets, no city noise, and no pressure to rush.
We could explore, relax, play, and enjoy the island at our own pace.
For a company built around adventure, Quan Lan felt familiar in the best possible way. It offered the same sense of freedom that we experience while riding through the mountains of northern Vietnam—the feeling of leaving the ordinary behind and discovering something real.
You do not simply visit Quan Lan.
You feel it in the sea breeze, the empty beaches, the quiet roads, and the peaceful rhythm of island life.
Fresh Seafood and Full-Throttle Family Feasts
No VietnamBikers trip would be complete without great food and a long table filled with laughter.
Bai Tu Long Bay treated us to an incredible selection of fresh local seafood, including grilled scallops, prawns, squid, fish, shellfish, and other island specialities prepared with simple, delicious flavours.
Every meal became a family celebration.
Plates filled the tables, glasses were raised, stories became louder, and the laughter continued throughout the evening. Some of the best memories were created not during a planned activity, but while sitting together over dinner.
Ask the group about their favourite part of the trip and some will say the beaches.
Others will immediately say the seafood.
Both answers are correct.
Sunsets, Beach Games and the Spirit of the Pack
As the afternoon light softened, the whole family gathered for beach games, group photos, music, and time together beside the sea.
The sky slowly changed from gold to pink and then deep purple as the sun disappeared beyond the water.
The children continued running along the shoreline. The younger team members played games and captured photos, while the older generation relaxed and enjoyed the peaceful evening atmosphere.
These were the moments that truly defined the trip.

The journey home was quieter than the journey out. The coach was filled with sandy bags, tired faces, sun-kissed smiles, sleeping children, and phones full of photos.

This trip was never only about visiting Minh Chau or Quan Lan. It was about the 32 people who experienced the journey together.
