Sai Gon Motorcycle Tour To Hue in 12 days

Day 1: Sai Gon - Lagi (Binh Thuan)

Sai Gon motorcycle tour to Lagi took us about 6 hours to ride 140 km. 

After breakfast, we left Sai Gon and rode on a beautiful coastal road to Lagi - a destination the south of Binh Thuan. We visited Minh Dam Army Base, Thuong Chieu pagoda, Long Ban pagoda, and more. 

Especially, we discovered Minera Hot Springs Binh Chau and enjoyed great relaxing experiences here.

Arriving in Lagi, we explored some attractive tourist destinations: Coco beach, Ke Ga cape, Doi Duong beach, Thay Thim palace, etc.

Day 2: Lagi - Takou And Mui Ne (Phan Thiet) 130Km

Leaving beautiful Lagi, we moved to Takou mountain pagoda, which was built in 1879 at the height of 457m from the sea level.

After that, we rode to Mui Ne, which is considered a beach paradise in Vietnam, to dip our bodies in the ocean. Then we joined some interesting activities such as exploring the fishing harbor, climbing the dunes, visiting the Cham Tower, and dining on fresh seafood.

Day 3: Mui Ne - Bao Loc (Lam Dong)

Mui Ne motorbike touring to Bao Loc lasts about 160km and 5 hours riding. We visited local families to learn about the daily life of them and explored the gardens of the dragon fruits. 

During the moving process, we also stopped at a village of the K’ho ethnic minority and participated in some daily activities with them. Arriving in Bao Loc, we spent the rest of the time seeing the Dambri waterfall and then taking a deep sleep after a hard day.

Day 4: Bao Loc - Da Lat (Lam Dong) 140Km

Continuing the motorcycle journey, we moved on to Da Lat - one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Vietnam. We passed by some farms, lakes, churches, and famous waterfalls. Then visited Da Lat market, Lam Dong museum, Thien Vien Truc Lam, and more.

We highly recommend you try some Da Lat dishes consisting of Vietnamese pizza (banh trang nuong), avocado ice cream, Dalat strawberries, mink coffee, Da Lat can cake, Vietnamese meatball banh my, wet cake with chicken organs, grilled pork rolls, and beef hotpot.

Day 5: Da Lat - Lak Lake (Dak Lak - The Land Of Coffee In Vietnam) 165Km

To this day, we discovered the rural life of local farmers - especially the village of the M’nong ethnic minority as well as visited the areas of the orange agent. 

Finally, we camped at Lak Lake and spent the whole night here.

Day 6: Lak - Cu Jut (Dak Nong) 100Km

Riding to Buon Me Thuot city to learn about the daily life of the local people. There are several attractive places like the Dak Lak Museum, Trinh Nu waterfall, the Buon Me Thuoc exiled house, Thanh Tam cathedral, Ea Kao lake, Dray Sap waterfall, and so on.

Day 7: Cu Jut - Pleiku (Gia Lai) 230Km

Ho Chi Minh trail motorcycle tour to Pleiku is so interesting. We learned about the daily life of local citizens who live on both sides of the road and experienced daily activities with them.

Day 8: Pleiku - Mang Den and Kom Tum 170Km

During the motorbike tour to Mang Den and Kom Tum, we took a lot of pictures at Bien Ho - the eyes of Pleiku and other places like Kon Ktu village, Kom Tum prison, and so on.

Day 9: Kom Tum - Kham Duc (Quang Nam) 130Km

Going on the Ho Chi Minh trail motorcycle tour, we visited some historical sites and discovered the culture of some ethnic minorities west of Truong Son mountain.

At the end of the day, we spent the rest time in Kham Duc - a small town in Quang Nam province.

Day 10: Kham Duc - Hoi An 130Km

After exploring some local markets of Kham Duc in the morning, we enriched our knowledge by visiting My Son Holly, Cham Towers, and other famous sites. In the afternoon of the day, we were in Hoi An Ancient Town.

Day 11: Hoi An Ancient Town - Hue Imperial City 175Km

Leaving Hoi An, we departed to Da Nang coastal city and took a short rest. Then we discovered Hai Van's pass to Hue's beautiful city.

Day 12: Relaxing In Hue Imperial City

Hue City is an ideal place for relaxation after a long motorbike ride. We spent the last day here discovering famous destinations and enjoying delicious food. 

We visited many amazing places, including Hue Citadel, Dong Ba market, Trang Tien bridge, Phu Cam church, Thien Mu pagoda, Kim Long old village, and so on.

Besides, we also explored Hue cuisine with Nam Pho Thick Noodle Soup, Hue Beef Vermicelli, Chestnut Starch Cake, etc.

In the evening, we took a stroll along the banks of the Perfume River to admire the scenery as well as enjoy Hue fold song performances on the Huong river. This is one of the unique cultural traditions of this city.

After finishing the motorbike journey, we returned home and returned to our daily lives with renewed feelings and full of energy.
